Caring for Yourself
Being a caregiver is a very taxing job and often very stressful. It is crucial to take care of yourself otherwise you can wind up being the one who needs more care. Support groups can be a wonderful opportunity to keep a social connection with people who are going through a similar experience. Take time to laugh and enjoy the small things every day. Try to exercise whether it be simple stretches and walks or being able to get away for a focused workout on your own.
